These vary from express freight to bespoke services Australia-wide and provide our customers a competitive advantage supported by Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) and proactive Customer Service.

 

Our Customer Service communication is second to none, it stops the telephone ringing and keeps receivers and customers in the loop.

We have developed an hybrid break bulk model advocated by our customers and supported by our principal inter capital city linehauliers. It allows us to control costs and provides protection for product.

This sameday or VIP direct drive point to point service is available in capital cities for satchels, cartons, pallets and even trailer loads.

In addition to Road Express, Courier Express allows multiple attempts next day to deliver product. Supported by Agent fleets of more than 400 vehicles in capital cities and major regional hubs.


DOT Express commenced as a reverse logistics business in 2010 collecting product from anywhere in Australia and returning it back to our customers.

This air/courier service is serviced by our airfreight Agent and managed by our Customer Service team.

If customers need to have documents or product hand delivered and they can’t do it themselves, they know they can count on DOT Express to get the job done

 

 

We have the capability to get your product there and get the job done when it comes to weekend, non-standard or absolute time critical deliveries. 

We make no apology that we only deal in consignments that require an International airfreight express parcel service.

LINEHAUL ROUTING


Our hybrid break bulk model has been advocated by our customers and supported by our principal inter capital city linehauliers.


The change from the typical third-party road express model has allowed us to better control our costs and assists with ongoing cost management.


As our model evolves, we shall be collecting product from all customers, sorting and break bulking into delivery ports for redelivery into our local delivery network.


This model provides better protection for product whilst minimising the likelihood of damage and loss and is supported by in-depot scanning


TERRITORY SPECIALISTS


DOT Express uses territory Agent specialists that have grown over the years through hard work and persistence. They have developed their local independent branch and outer-regional Agent networks to service even the far reaches in regional Australia.


This combined strategic business alliance produces exceptionally high service standards backed by solid market reputations, electronic event management capability and the desire for improvement.


Once scanned into a capital city depot, freight is segregated so regional country freight can be forwarded directly to our primary Agent network which consists of more than 55 depots.

RETURN EXPRESS


At DOT Express, we don’t treat returns as second class freight.


DOT Express commenced as a reverse logistics business in 2011 collecting product from anywhere in Australia and returning it back to our customers. We have been fortunate to maintain our original regional network relationships so the return of product is effectively the reverse of our road express SOP.


We take the same care with Return Express as we do with outbound product. Our standard service adds an extra 48 to 72 hours to our road express ETA, this in turn allows us to communicate appropriately with all involved. And if an overnight service is required, we can do that too!

AIRCOURIER NETWORK


Our air/courier service is serviced by our airfreight Agent and managed by our Operations and Customer Service teams. This way we can stay on top of Priority Air Courier Express deliveries next business day and


offer time definite delivery bands of 9:00am, 10:00am or 12 noon


or simply


next day by 5:00pm


Conditions may apply to regional deliveries as product is flown to the nearest airport for road express transport to locations not directly serviced by our Linehaul Agent. Referral to our ETA guide or your Account Manager/Customer Service Agent is recommended.

Product Returns

DOT Express works for you to minimize the risk of error at point of collection. We tell you when there are anomalies with collections and we provide you the electronic internal solutions and measurement tools to know the cost and efficiency of the consigned collection. We put you in control with end to end visibility while we manage your and your customers’ experience and improve the velocity of your product.


With a comprehensive fully integrated IT backend, we provide cost efficient, time sensitive and accurate ‘near real time’ information. We make available the latest in telecommunications for those collections that require up to the minute validation.


Your total cost using DOT Express will reduce the ‘invisible’ internal soft cost and some of those miscellaneous charges you presently experience from your transport carrier.
